Macy King joined MM to help strengthen communities by translating federal policy and funding opportunities into meaningful local impact.
Macy began at MM as a legislative fellow, supporting GRAs and analyzing federal appropriations legislation to advance the firm’s work on behalf of nonprofits. She later interned on Capitol Hill in the office of Congresswoman Julia Letlow (LA-05), where she gained firsthand experience with the appropriations process. She returned to MM to translate these skills into her new role as a Government Relations Associate. Macy is passionate about helping local communities and other nonprofit organizations understand and leverage federal policy and resources.
Outside of work, Macy is pursuing her master’s degree and enjoys exploring Washington, D.C.’s many museums.
