Lynn Chaiken brings 25 years of experience across the healthcare continuum to her work with Merchant McIntyre's clients.
Previously, Lynn served as one of the directors at the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials, where she wrote proposals for their federally funded injury prevention and behavioral health portfolio. During this time, Lynn worked with multi-sector partners and state health leadership to design practical, evidence-based approaches to solving complex public health challenges such as opioid misuse, violence prevention, and behavioral health.
Lynn cultivated her passion for writing grants in the nonprofit sector early in her career, taking a fundraising certificate course at Villanova University while just starting out as a community mental health therapist. This led to grant and proposal writing during each phase of her career, which included applying to local foundations to boost youth health curricula and to federal innovation programs to tackle the Triple Aim through pediatric-community collaborations.
Lynn received her BA in Political Science and History at McGill University in Montreal and her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
