Appalachia Service Project

Known as the “angels in blue jeans,” Appalachia Service Project (ASP) is a Christ-centered housing ministry based in Johnson City, Tennessee. For over 50 years, ASP has partnered with governments, churches, nonprofits, and corporations to repair and build homes for low-income residents of Central Appalachia. ASP retained Merchant McIntyre Associates (MM) to win major federal funding to expand its work and serve more people in need. Thus far, MM and ASP have secured millions of dollars for projects in multiple states.
