Lauren is an outstanding producer of all aspects of client service.  Lauren joined the Merchant McIntyre team because her primary career passion is making a difference by helping others. 

She lives by the Oprah Winfrey quote, “You are where you are in life because of what you believe is possible for yourself.”
 
Prior to joining MM, Lauren served as the HUD-Certified Housing Counselor and Real Estate Services Coordinator for Mid-City Redevelopment Alliance, Inc. She has also served under Governor of Louisiana John Bel Edwards and Mayor of East Baton Rouge Parish Sharon Weston Broome. In these positions, Lauren honed her client communication, and service skills and nonprofit organization and federal funding knowledge. 

Lauren received her Bachelor of Science in Political Science, Public Policy Concentration from Louisiana State University, and earned her Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center. 

Outside of work, Lauren loves teaching dance and trying new restaurants. As a Baton Rouge native, she is highly familiar with tasty cuisines!
